‘is a small home for a lovely young native couple who are in love with life and do not lose a chance to celebrate it. Passionate about architecture across the globe, the clients wanted the luxuries of the global while being respectful of their immediate context and traditions. Situated in a rather indifferent neighbourhood with narrow lanes and mediocre buildings, @rgbarchitecturestudio decided to look at the ambience of the many beautiful churches along the length of this island for reference and inspiration. Here the mansard roof is used as a device to achieve an inward looking home protecting itself from the gaze of its neighbourhood.’ – Peter Rich
